Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the Oven: Set the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Glaze: In a small saucepan, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
- Brush the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush generously with the maple glaze.
