Ingredients
Pizza dough - 1 lb
Mozzarella cheese - 1 cup, cut into small cubes
Garlic butter - 3 tbsp (melted, mixed with minced garlic)
Parsley - 1 tbsp (chopped, for garnish)
Directions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Dough Balls: Roll the pizza dough into 1-inch balls. Flatten each ball and place a small cube of mozzarella cheese in the center. Pinch the edges to seal, forming a dough ball.
- Shape the Tree: Arrange the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet in a tree shape (start with one ball at the top and add rows, increasing in number, to form a triangular tree). Leave some space between balls as they will expand while baking.
- Brush with Garlic Butter: Generously brush the dough balls with the melted garlic butter.
- Bake: Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
- Garnish: Remove from the oven and brush again with garlic butter. Sprinkle chopped parsley for a festive touch.
- Serve: Serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
